Mark Cuban Predicts These 11 Types Of Businesses Will Disappear In The Next 10 Years

Entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban has constantly emphasized one core idea: change or become obsolete. As technology accelerates, especially in artificial intelligence, robotization, and digital platforms, entire diligence is being reshaped at a structural level. Cuban has constantly refocused on the fact that businesses adhering to outdated models, hamstrung processes, or avoidable interposers are at the highest threat. The coming decade will not just award invention; it will laboriously phase out inefficiency. 

Traditional Brick- and- Mortar Retail Stores 

Cuban has long argued that physical retail without a strong digital integration strategy is one espoused time. The rise of e-commerce titans like Amazon has permanently altered consumer prospects, with fast delivery, individualized recommendations, and flawless returns. Stores that calculate solely on bottom-line business and fail to offer omni-channel behaviour will struggle to survive.

Cuban predicts that companies charging high commissions without offering significant added value will fade. Platforms using AI for property matching and virtual tenures are formerly replacing hamstrung intermediaries. 

Traditional Banking Branches 

With the rise of fintech companies like PayPal and digital-first banks, physical branches are  getting less applicable. Cuban has stressed how young consumers prefer mobile banking, instant deals, and lower freights. Banks that do not digitize aggressively will lose request share  snappily. 

General Publish Media Publications

Journals and magazines that fail to establish a strong digital identity are at threat. Cuban has noted that cults now demand real- time updates, multimedia liars, and interactive content. Stationary print models without digital transformation will continue to decline. 

Basic Accounting and Bookkeeping Enterprises 

Robotization software is swiftly replacing routine financial tasks. Tools that handle invoicing, duty computations, and compliance are reducing the need for home secretaries. Cuban believes only enterprises offering strategic fiscal advisory services will remain applicable.

Manufacturers that depend on cheap labor without investing in robotization or invention are at risk. Cuban highlights that robotics and AI- driven products will dominate, making traditional low- effectiveness manufacturing models unsustainable.

Online booking platforms have made trip planning more accessible and transparent. Cuban notes that agencies offering little beyond introductory booking services will vanish, as consumers increasingly rely on digital tools for tailored trip behaviour.

Ignoring Artificial Intelligence Altogether 

Cuban has been particularly vocal about AI, calling it the most transformative force of this period. Companies that ignore AI whether in operations, marketing, or decision- making will struggle to contend against those using it for effectiveness and insights.
