Another factor that was behind one of the most spectacular event failures in the modern history involves a twenty five year old business man whose ambitions tremendously exceeded his capability of fulfilling any form of promise.
A New Jersey Beginning
The entrepreneur was born in New York City in 1991 and brought up in Millburn, New Jersey; although his initial business Vent Magnises was launched in 2013 with a capital of one point five million dollars, the investor contributed to the business.
The Fyre App Vision
Fyre Media was developed to make a mobile application that linked the fans or customers with the musical talents to make a personal booking, an idea that was indeed very promising and had attracted over eighty investors and over twenty-four million dollars as startup capital.
The Festival Was Born
Fyre Festival was co-founded with rapper Ja Rule towards the end of 2016; it was declared as a two-weekend luxury event in the Bahamas, promoting with top social media influencers as well as models such as Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
The Promise vs The Reality
